We often hear of the “Old Time Religion”. This phrase means many different things to many different people. To some, the phrase hearkens back to the good old days of the 1970’s in Fundamental churches, for others, they may point to some other revival or period of time.
What we aim to do is to study the true Old Time Religion as found in the book of Acts. Here we will see much that is transitional in nature, for example the sign gift of healing. But what we will also see is a church filled with the boldness of the Holy Spirit. We will see a church that is passionate in their witness. We will see a church that puts God’s glory above anything in their own life. May we recapture that same spirit today!
